Hello My Name Is...
I am an ESL teacher for Millington Municipal Schools. I teach ESL to students in all grades. I have been teaching for 23 years. I am also a graduate of MCHS. When I'm not teaching I live on a farm with many animals in Shelby Forrest. I love to be outdoors and try exciting things. I enjoy traveling in foreign countries, experiencing new customs, and enjoy meeting people.
I was born in Memphis TN. I live on a farm that has been in my family over 100 years. I attended E. E. Jeter Elementary and then Millington Central High School. After high school I attended U.T. Martin where I majored in Pre-Cytotechnolgy. I then graduated from U.T. Memphis with a B. S. in Cytotechnology. In 1994, I enrolled at Freed Hardeman University and earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I later earned an additional endorsement in ESL. I have taught for 23 years. I have been teaching ESL since 2003 at MCHS as well as other Millington schools.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and prom date. We have 5 children, 3 dogs and 3 cats. . I love ethnic food and adventures. I love to travel. I have been out of the country to Mexico, Honduras, Belize, London, New York, Canada, Jamaica, Grand Caymen, and The Bahamas.
