Millington High School ESL Syllabus
ESL I, ESL II, ESL III
English as a Second Language (ESL) is designed to assist English Learners (Els) in acquiring formal academic English. Students will work to strengthen their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The specific topics and skills covered vary based upon the needs of the students enrolled in the class. Class time will be divided between skill-building activities and content area support. Grades are based on total points following MCHS grading policy. As time is given for all assignments to be completed in class, late work will be accepted. Students may apply up to two ESL credits towards graduation requirements. More than two ESL credits will be counted as electives.
