Hello My Name Is...
I graduated from Christian Brothers University in May of 2014 with a degree in Special Education. This is my second year at Millington Central High School and I am proud to call this home away from home. Before MCHS, I taught at an inner city middle school in the Memphis area. I am co-teaching 10th (Coach Dodd) and 11th grade English (Ms. Brandon) and Algebra II (Dr. Smith). My goal is to create a positive and engaging learning environment where students grow to be productive and successful adults. I am also the head girls golf coach. Golf gave me so many opportunities in life and I am looking forward to sharing that with my girls.
Outside of my teaching career, Ben and I enjoy spending time with our daughter, Maisie, who was born in July of 2015. We live in Bartlett, TN. We love living in Bartlett because we are close to my parents, grandparents, sister and my two nieces. We love our cats Cooper, Professor, Taffy, Clover and dog, Harry. In the little free time I have, I enjoy cruising the Caribbean and playing golf. I am also a member of the Life Church. I am so thankful for all the opportunities I have had and I am looking forward to the ones ahead!
