About Me

I am originally from Mascoutah, Illinois (about 25 minutes from St. Louis). I went to Murray State University (GO RACERS!), where I studied music education and played French horn. I also met my husband, Mark, at MSU.

After graduating, I taught band and general music for two years in Metropolis, Illinois, and I taught one year in Tunica, Mississippi. This is my fourth year at MCHS, and I am so proud to be part of the Trojan family!

I enjoy spending time with my husband, our son, Charlie, and our dog, Grainger, visiting family and friends in Kentucky and Illinois, traveling, playing French horn whenever I can, and rooting on the St. Louis Cardinals.
