Commander Guy R. Delahoussaye, USN (ret)

Senior Naval Science Instructor

CDR Delahoussaye, a native of New Orleans, La, enlisted in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electrician’s Mate after graduation from high school. He was subsequently selected for the NROTC program and graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Management and was commissioned a Naval Flight Officer. He holds a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Information Systems Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.

His operational tours include FAIRECONRON Squadron Four (VQ-4) and the USS John F. Kennedy. He served as Assistant Professor of Naval Science at Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida, Officer in Charge of the Center of Naval Technical Training Detachment Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, Executive Officer of Navy Manpower Analysis Center, Executive Assistant to Commander, Navy Recruiting Command, and the Deputy Commander of Navy Recruiting Region East, Millington, Tennessee.

After retiring from Naval Service in 2017, CDR Delahoussaye became a graduate student at the University of Memphis studying Higher and Adult Education.
